Tiger with the 88 mm KwK L/71 gun 1:72 from Trumpeter is a plastic kit of a proposed version of the German heavy tank with a lengthened gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the German Tiger heavy tank in the form with the lengthened 88 mm KwK L/71 gun. It is a project (paper) version, that is, a design that was never built in series, and the model therefore appeals to collectors of so-called paper panzers. Trumpeter delivers a compact but well broken-down model with a stand for display.
The Tiger was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with a reputation as a feared opponent, thanks to its thick armor and its 88 mm gun. The longer 88 mm gun with the L/71 barrel gave a higher muzzle velocity and penetrating power than the shorter version; in this form it is a project pairing of the Tiger with a more powerful weapon that stayed at the design stage.
In the small scale, take care over a clean fit of the hull, the turret and the long barrel, and handle the running gear and the tracks gently. Join the plastic with liquid cement and sand the seams. Lay down a primer, spray the main shade with an airbrush, and bring even a small model to life with a wash into the recesses, filters and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
