Gloster Gladiator Mk.I masking set (1:72, Peewit)

This is not an airplane model but a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the canopy glazing of the British Gloster Gladiator Mk.I biplane fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks from the Czech maker Peewit are die-cut from thin masking tape and follow exactly the frames of the enclosed canopy, which are awkward to cover by hand on the Gladiator.

Use

  • Clean and degrease the glazing.
  • Lay the masks precisely on the canopy frames and press them down firmly.
  • Cover the surroundings and apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush.
  • Once dry, lift the masks off and you have sharp, straight frames.
