This is a resin set meant for the plastic kit of the Gloster Gladiator biplane. The package replaces the wheels of the model with faithfully cast resin parts with a recessed tire tread and finely divided hubs. Masking film is included, which makes clean painting of the tire separately from the hub easier without laborious cutting of masks.
The Gloster Gladiator is a British single-seat fighter biplane from the middle of the 1930s. It was the last fighter biplane of the Royal Air Force and still saw action in the opening years of the Second World War. Wheels with covered hubs are one of its characteristic features.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue first and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Paint the wheels using the enclosed masking film, which separates the tire from the hub.
