Go 229 Horten photo-etched detail set 1:72 from Eduard. A refining accessory for models of the German Horten Ho 229 jet flying wing, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a kit. It is used to improve a model of the German experimental Horten Ho 229 (Go 229) jet flying wing in 1:72 scale. The set adds the fine details that injection-molded plastic cannot manage at this scale and raises the fidelity of the interior and of the exterior features alike.
The Horten Ho 229 was an advanced German flying wing from the end of the Second World War with a pair of jet engines. It never reached series production, yet it is among the most interesting machines of its time thanks to its futuristic tailless design. It is precisely that unusual shape that makes this aircraft such a rewarding subject for collectors.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, bend them over an edge and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue or with glue made for photo-etch. Degrease the unpainted parts before painting and give them a primer, so that the paint holds well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
