A wheel set for the Gotha Go 242B-2 and 244B-2 in 1:72 scale from IBG Models, a 3D printed resin accessory that replaces the basic wheels in a model with a higher level of detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory holds 3D printed wheels for a model of the Gotha Go 242B-2 transport glider and its powered Go 244B-2 variant in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail set that replaces the wheels from a plastic kit with parts with a finer tire tread pattern and a more faithful hub. The set is intended for models of these types from IBG Models.
The Gotha Go 242 was a German heavy cargo and assault glider of the Second World War with a characteristic twin-boom structure and jettisonable landing gear for landing on short strips. The powered Go 244 version was given a pair of radial engines and became a light transport aircraft. On both types the landing gear wheels are among the prominent visual features.
First wash the parts free of any remains of uncured resin, separate them carefully from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand resin with your airways protected. The tires suit a matte black-gray paint, the hubs the shade of the fuselage, and dust and mud effects with pigments at the end.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
