1:72 Handley-Page Harrow Mk.II 1 canopy masks

Montex 1:72 Handley-Page Harrow Mk.II cockpit masks

Self-adhesive masking templates from the Polish maker Montex for models of the British Handley-Page Harrow Mk.II in 1:72 scale. The set is aimed at masking the glazing, that is the frames of the cockpit and the windows. It is an aid for a clean spray finish, not a set of model parts.

The real subject

The Handley-Page Harrow was a British twin-engine high-wing monoplane of the second half of the 1930s, originally a heavy bomber and later used above all as a transport and supply aircraft of the Royal Air Force. Its extensive cockpit and fuselage glazing was characteristic.

Use

• Stick the masks onto degreased glazing, press the edges down and spray the frames.
• Kabuki tape follows the shape of the parts, holds a sharp edge and leaves no adhesive behind when removed.
• On divided glazing, work in sections; remove the mask while the paint is still fresh.
• Suitable for an airbrush and for a spray can.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to spray the extensive glazing of the Harrow quickly and cleanly without laborious hand masking. Intended for models of the Handley-Page Harrow Mk.II in the stated scale; the kit and the paints are not included.
