Harrier GR Mk.3 1:72 from Hasegawa: an injection-molded plastic kit of the British land-based attack aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British attack aircraft Hawker Harrier GR Mk.3 in 1:72 scale from the Japanese company Hasegawa. It is the land-based version made for the Royal Air Force, different from the naval Sea Harrier. The box consists of injection-molded plastic sprues, a clear canopy and a set of decals.
The Harrier GR Mk.3 was a land-based attack and reconnaissance aircraft of the Royal Air Force with vertical or short takeoff and landing. Thanks to its vectoring nozzles it could take off from short strips and improvised sites close to the front, which made it less dependent on large airfields. It was intended above all for strikes on ground targets and for reconnaissance, with armament in the form of cannon, bombs and rocket pods. The GR.3 version was among the mature upgrades of the line and served with British squadrons at home and in postings abroad.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit before closing up the fuselage and mask the clear canopy. Lay a base coat (primer) and spray the British camouflage schemes with an airbrush in thin layers. Assemble the vectoring nozzles, the bombs and the rocket pods separately. The engraved lines can be brought out with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
