A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to refine the plastic kit of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk. I fighter in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the plastic exhausts with finely cast stubs with faithfully marked outlets.
The Hurricane Mk. I was a single-seat fighter powered by the V12 Merlin engine and was one of the mainstays of the British defense in the early phases of the Second World War. The exhaust stubs along the sides of the nose are a small but conspicuous detail that plastic often simplifies.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The outlets can be picked out with a dark shade and a fine patina of exhaust gases.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
