Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector model of the Mi-8T medium transport helicopter in Hungarian Air Force markings, with the fuselage number given in the product name. The model from the maker Easy Model arrives assembled, painted and marked. It is not a kit; it can go straight from the box into a display case.
The Mi-8 is a twin-engine helicopter with a five-blade main rotor, a roomy cargo cabin and large doors on the left side. The T version is the basic transport standard, which was used for carrying people and materiel, for drops, in the ambulance role and for carrying slung loads. Its typical features are the pair of engines mounted above the cabin, the side auxiliary fuel tanks on the fuselage and the tail boom with a tail rotor. The type is among the most widespread helicopters of its category and served in many European countries, Hungary among them.
A finished model is made of plastic with the finish and the printing applied, so it is looked after differently from a model you build. Remove the dust dry, with a soft brush or an air blower bulb. Do not use water, detergents or methylated spirit, as the printing is sensitive to them. An enclosed display case is ideal, as it limits the settling of dust; anyone who puts the model away should return it to its original box with the padding. Direct sun and heating speed up the fading of the shades and the embrittlement of the plastic, so place the model somewhere shaded and at an even temperature.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. Nothing is glued or painted.
