1:72 Hungarian Tankers brings figures of Hungarian tankers into the small scale. They fill out hardware that is built only rarely.
Responsibility details are not available.
Figures for Hungarian armored hardware belong to the narrower part of what is available, which most makers skip. Yet it is precisely with less usual hardware that crews have the greatest value: a modeler cannot fall back on ordinary German or Allied figures for them, because both the uniform and the headgear differ.
During the Second World War Hungary built armored vehicles of its own, some derived from licensed designs: the light Toldi types, the medium Turán, the anti-aircraft Nimrod and the Zrínyi assault gun. In the small scale most of them are available to a modeler, so a set of crews follows on from them directly and solves a problem that otherwise ends in improvisation.
With rarer armies the greatest mistake is to take the coloring over from somebody else. Check the shades of the uniform against period photographs or publications and keep to more muted tones rather than not. Because these are very small objects, paint them mounted on a temporary holder and build the areas up in thin coats. Only at the very end seat the figure on the model or into the scene.
The painting is up to the owner. The package holds neither a vehicle nor a base.
