Eduard Hurricane Mk. II masks 1:72 is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.II fighter. It gives sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model, but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This pre-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.II fighter. It is not a kit and it is not a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks made of thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Hawker Hurricane is a British single-seat fighter of the Second World War which, together with the Spitfire, secured victory in the Battle of Britain. The Mk.II version had a more powerful Merlin engine and, in its later sub-variants, heavier armament, including cannons and the ability to carry bombs or rockets. Its framed sliding canopy with sharp edges is ideal for masking.
Degrease the glazing of the framed canopy and let it dry. Take the masks off the backing and lay them on the individual frames, pressing them into the edges, and fill any small gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
