Not all uniforms were green or khaki. Brown fabrics appeared on service and walking-out uniforms, on work clothing, in some branches of service and in the kit of auxiliary and rear-echelon units. The Uniforms Brown shade is exactly such a general uniform brown tone from the line of the Lifecolor brand, and it is a water-based acrylic paint for figures and their clothing.
It easily happens that the uniform and the equipment both get a single brown tone and the figure merges into one surface. Fabric has a subdued transition spread across the surface, leather a sharp highlight on the edges, and canvas straps in turn a grainy surface and a firm shape. A uniform brown tone therefore belongs on the clothing, while the boots, the belt and the pouches deserve a leather shade of their own. The difference between three materials does more for the believability of a figure than any number of layers on a single surface.
It will serve modelers of figures who build mixed scenes with soldiers and civilians alike, and everyone who wants more than one clothing tone in one diorama. It complements the green uniform tones and the leather shades from the same line.
Keep out of the reach of children. Open the container carefully and always close it carefully after taking paint out.
