1:72 Hurricane Mk.I landing flaps is a photo-etched set of landing flaps for a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:72 scale.

This is NOT a model of the aircraft but an add-on photo-etched set. It holds fine photo-etched brass parts of the landing flaps for a model of the legendary British fighter Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in 1:72 scale. The set makes it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position and with a realistic thickness, which injection-molded plastic cannot reach at this scale.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British fighter aircraft which, together with the Spitfire, bore the main weight of the Battle of Britain in 1940. It was sturdy, easy to handle and easy to repair. Lowered landing flaps are meanwhile a striking feature of an aircraft standing on the apron.
The photo-etched parts are cut out with a sharp knife, bent into shape and glued with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer. Lowered flaps add credibility to a standing model.
This is an add-on photo-etched set. The basic model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
