Hurricane Mk.I – Reserve Fuel Tank 1:72 is a resin detail accessory from CMK. It is not a model of the aircraft, but a replacement part for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a kit of the aircraft, but a detail accessory. It is a resin casting of the reserve fuel tank for a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:72 scale from CMK. The accessory is meant for modelers who want to render this part of the aircraft more accurately than the part from the base kit allows. The exact make-up of the set, the number of parts and the way to install them are given in the instructions in the package.
The Hurricane was the first British monoplane fighter with a retractable undercarriage taken into regular service, and in 1940 it made up the numerically strongest element of the British fighter defense. The design grew out of a steel tube frame with wooden formers and a fabric covering on the rear fuselage; on the Mk.I the wing was at first fabric-covered too and later all metal. The aircraft's fuel system was divided into several tanks, which the modeler usually gets a grasp of only from the documentation for the particular kit.
For modelers with experience of resin who are building the Hurricane Mk.I in 1:72 scale and want to raise the level of detail beyond the base kit. Make sure beforehand that it matches the kit you are building.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
