A Quickboost replacement propeller for a model of the Soviet Polikarpov I-153 biplane fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished replacement propeller part from Quickboost for a model of the Polikarpov I-153 biplane fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the propeller from the kit and suits every case where you want a finer blade shape and a thinner trailing edge than an ordinary plastic part allows. The propeller is clearly visible on a model from every side, so the swap shows up strongly.
The Polikarpov I-153 was the last Soviet biplane fighter built in series. You can recognize it by the gull-shaped upper wing, which improved the pilot's forward view, and by the retractable landing gear, unusual on a biplane. It was powered by an air-cooled radial engine. It stayed in service even into the period when it was no longer a match for contemporary monoplanes.
Dry-fit the part in its seating first and only then glue it. Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the blades stay symmetrical. The part is not polystyrene and ordinary polystyrene cement has no effect on it, so use super glue. Before painting, wash and degrease the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth face. The exact procedure for preparing the part is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The delivery is a replacement propeller part. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
