Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the supersonic IAI Dagger fighter in 1:72 scale from PM Model. The package consists of plastic sprues and a clear cockpit part together with a decal sheet for several marking options. It is a classic kit of a simpler kind and a good basis for building this rarely seen subject.
Dagger was the Argentine designation of Israeli-built fighters derived from the design of the Mirage 5, or rather from the Israeli Nesher. It was a single-seat tailless delta aircraft without radar, with the emphasis on attacking ground and naval targets. Argentine Daggers left a strong mark on the fighting over the Falklands in 1982, where they carried bombs and rockets against the Royal Navy and operated over long distances across the Atlantic.
With simpler kits it pays to deburr and clean up the mating surfaces and to dry-fit the fuselage and the wings in advance. Bond the joints with liquid cement for plastic, mask the canopy and paint it with an airbrush. Argentine camouflage uses sand and brown-green shades on the upper surfaces and a light underside; richer colors come out best on a smooth, primed surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
