The Aires 1:72 IAI Kfir C2/C7 exhaust nozzles are resin engine exhaust nozzles for a model of the Israeli IAI Kfir C2/C7 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of engine exhaust nozzles in 1:72 scale from Aires. This is not an airplane model but a detailed replacement for the end of the nozzle that sharpens up the tail of a model of the Israeli IAI Kfir fighter in the C2 and C7 versions. The resin rendering captures the petals and the detail of the nozzle faithfully, where small plastic parts tend to no more than suggest them.
The IAI Kfir was an Israeli supersonic fighter that grew out of the design of the French Dassault Mirage, fitted with a different engine and a reworked nose with canards. The C2 and C7 versions were among the most widespread and most widely used. The exhaust nozzle of the engine is a conspicuous detail of the tail, and it is one the eye often settles on.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In the small scale, take care over a clean fit into the end of the fuselage. We recommend painting the nozzle in metal shades with hints of heat tinting and bringing it out with a fine wash. Check the fit before you glue it in.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
