IAI Kfir RC-2 - a camera nose conversion (1:72) is a resin conversion set from AML that turns an ordinary Kfir into the reconnaissance version with its characteristic camera nose.

This is a resin conversion set, not a model of an aircraft in its own right. It holds castings for reworking the nose of the IAI Kfir fighter into the RC-2 reconnaissance variant with a glazed camera tip (Tsniut). The parts are glued onto a suitable base Kfir model.
It makes it possible to build the less usual reconnaissance version of the Israeli Kfir. The front of the fuselage is replaced by a resin part with the shape and the glazing of the camera nose, which produces a subject different from the standard fighter form.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts first, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before fitting the nose we recommend a dry run and, if needed, balancing the tip so that the model sits down on its nose gear.
This is an accessory for advanced builders. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
