Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Il-10 ground-attack aircraft (in the Czechoslovak license version Avia B-33) in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. The model is supplied as a set of plastic parts with a decal sheet; the particular contents and marking schemes differ from one release to another.
The Il-10 came about in Sergei Ilyushin's design bureau at the close of the Second World War as the successor to the famous Il-2 Shturmovik ground-attack aircraft. It brought higher speed, better armor protection and a stronger AM-42 engine as well as improved aerodynamics. In Czechoslovakia the aircraft was built under license at Avia under the designation B-33 and it served with further users too. Allied airmen gave it the nickname Beast.
We recommend a thin cement for plastic, cleaning the parts up and a primer. Paint the cockpit interior and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. Lay the paint on with an airbrush and unify matte areas with varnish before the decals go on. Mask the glazing and fit it at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
