ISAF Afghanistan 2 - French members of the peacekeeping force is a set of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale for the Renault VAB, VAB Sanitaire and Panhard VBL vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale from Star Decals. It is not a model but a set of markings for finished plastic models of French wheeled vehicles committed within the ISAF mission in Afghanistan. The set covers the Renault VAB armored personnel carrier, its VAB Sanitaire ambulance version and the light Panhard VBL reconnaissance vehicle.
The French contingent within the international ISAF force used wheeled VAB vehicles in Afghanistan as armored personnel carriers and ambulances and the light Panhard VBL for reconnaissance and signals. The vehicles carried present-day identification and tactical insignia, registrations and recognition markings of the peacekeeping mission.
Varnish the base to a gloss, so that no silvery rim arises around a decal. Cut the piece out, dip it in lukewarm water and, once it has released, slide it onto the model. On texture and unevenness use a decal softener and finally go over it with a clear varnish of the gloss you have chosen.
This is a set of decals. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
