Italian Spitfires – the Supermarine Spitfire in the Regia Aeronautica is a set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for models of the Spitfire fighter in Italian service.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of printed waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the maker Exotic Decals. It is not a kit but an add-on for a plastic model of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter. The set brings markings of machines operated in Italian service and offers several color variants.
The Supermarine Spitfire is among the most famous fighters of World War II. After 1943 the Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force took British Spitfires into service, and they served with Italian squadrons in the late phase of the war and after it. These machines with Italian national insignia are the main subject of the sheet.
Small motifs in 1:72 scale call for delicate handling. Prepare a gloss surface under the decals, soak the motifs briefly in lukewarm water and transfer them onto the model. A decal softener will help them cling into the detail, and you fix the result with a clear varnish.
These are stand-alone decals. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
