The Draken is a Swedish supersonic fighter that is unmistakable at first glance thanks to its double delta wing. The inner section with its steep sweep passes into a shallower outer section, so the aircraft managed both high speeds and acceptable behavior on landing. Besides the Swedish Air Force the Draken also served in other European countries and stayed in service for many decades. The set is aimed at the versions listed under the designations J-35F and FS.
Photo-etched parts for a Draken model in 1:72 scale. In this scale the difference between a plastic and a photo-etched part shows best: metal has the thickness of real sheet, whereas plastic is noticeably thicker even from the best mold. Which parts of the model the set covers and which kit it is prepared for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the small parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and hold them with tweezers so that they do not fly off. Run a fine file over the place where they were separated. Make the bends over a sharp edge or in a photo-etch bending tool. Use super glue in a minute amount for bonding. Degrease the parts before painting and apply a primer intended for metal.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
