A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard, meant to improve models of the SEPECAT Jaguar GR Mk.1 in 1:72 scale. The set adds fine metal details that cannot be molded in plastic to a sufficient fineness. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory to a base kit.
The SEPECAT Jaguar GR Mk.1 was a British-French single-seat tactical fighter-bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. In the GR.1 version it served with the Royal Air Force from the 1970s and proved itself in attacks on ground targets at low altitude. It was powered by two Adour engines.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them with the help of a bending tool or two rules. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before applying paint it is worth degreasing the metal and spraying it with primer, so that the paint holds well.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
