This detail set from the Czech manufacturer Quickboost (the Aires workshop) holds resin seats with faithfully modeled seat belts for a model of the Junkers Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber in 1:72 scale. The belts are cast directly as part of the item, so there is no folding of photo-etched buckles. The set is a replacement part, not a model in its own right.
In an open cockpit the crew seats are among the conspicuous details. The resin castings have sharper relief than plastic parts, and thanks to the modeled belts the cockpit looks occupied with no further work.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts and cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw. Bond with super glue. Painting is easier over a dark base with dry brushing on the edges; pick the belts out in a different shade. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set holds only the resin seats. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
