Masks for the glazing and wheels of the Junkers Ju 88A-4 (1:72) - cut self-adhesive Eduard painting masks for accurate spraying of the divided cockpit glazing and the wheels of the bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cut self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:72 scale for a model of the German Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber. It is not a kit or a model - these are precisely cut masks in thin masking tape that adhere to the extensive glazed front of the cockpit and to the landing gear wheels. With them you spray the divided canopy frames and the centers of the hubs with a sharp edge and no laborious cutting of tape.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engine multi-purpose aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber, a dive bomber and a night fighter. The A-4 version was among the most widespread bomber variants and was notable for the extensive glazed front of the cockpit with its many small frames. It was one of the mainstays of the German bomber force.
First spray the shade of the cockpit frames, and once it is dry place the masks on the glazing and spray over them in the fuselage color. The divided glazing of the bomber is handled far more quickly with pre-formed masks than by hand. The wheel masks hold the center of the hub while the tires are sprayed. For the best adhesion, degrease the surface before applying them, remove any dust and press the masks down with a soft tool so that paint does not creep under the edge.
This is a masking set. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
