Accessory engine radiators for a model of the Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber in 1:72 scale. A replacement for the kit parts with a more finely rendered front face.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Junkers Ju 88 was one of the most widespread German twin-engine combat aircraft of the Second World War. It began as a fast bomber and grew step by step into a whole family of machines for bombing, reconnaissance and night fighting. Compared with the older versions the A-4 standard received a greater wing span and more powerful engines, so it could carry a higher load; it became the most widespread bomber standard of the whole type.
The set brings engine radiators for a Ju 88A-4 model in 1:72 scale from the Quickboost accessory range. It replaces the kit parts, whose shape tends to be simplified and whose fine texture of the front face is lost in the small scale. Which kit the parts are prepared for, how many pieces the package contains and whether the mating surface on the model has to be modified are given in the manufacturer's instructions; go through them in full before work.
The parts are not polystyrene and ordinary cement for plastic will not join them, so use super glue. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest carefully so that the mating surface stays flat. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. You bring out the depth of the front face by darkening it first and then lightening the edges with an almost dry brush.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
