The set holds pre-die-cut self-adhesive masks for a model of the twin-engine Junkers Ju-86 bomber in the E-1/E-2 versions in 1:72. This machine had an extensively glazed nose and cockpit, so masking its divided frames tends to be slow work. The masks follow the shapes of the glazing exactly, protect the glass during spraying and give sharp transitions between frame and window. This is not a kit of an airplane but an accessory that makes painting it markedly easier. The masks are cut for the Italeri kit.
The masks are an accessory for a build only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
