This resin set holds precisely cast exhausts for models of the Junkers Ju 87 dive bomber in the B and R versions in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the exhaust pipes of a kit and brings finer shapes and suggested hollow outlets that injection-molded plastic usually does not reach.
The Junkers Ju 87, nicknamed the Stuka, was a German dive bomber used during the Second World War. The B version formed the basic combat variant, while the R version had an extended range thanks to additional tanks. They were powered by an inverted V12 liquid-cooled engine whose exhaust pipes projected along the sides of the forward fuselage.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts come alive once they are painted in dark metal and rust shades, with a light dry brush if you like. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
