Quickboost 1:72 spatted undercarriage Ju 87G Stuka is a resin replacement part for refining a model of the German anti-tank aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin replacement undercarriage spats for a model of the German Junkers Ju 87G Stuka anti-tank aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail part from Quickboost. The castings replace the parts from the kit with a more faithful and correctly shaped rendering of the fairings of the fixed undercarriage.
The Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber easily recognized by its inverted gull wings and the fixed undercarriage with its characteristic spatted wheel fairings. The G version was the anti-tank adaptation nicknamed the Kanonenvogel, armed with a pair of 37 mm cannon in pods under the wings. The spatted undercarriage is among the prominent recognition features of the type and its accurate shape is decisive for the silhouette of a model.
First wash the parts to remove the remains of the mold release from the mold. Separate them from the casting block carefully with a saw or a knife and glue them on with super glue (cyanoacrylate); ordinary plastic cement does not hold on resin. Sand with respiratory protection, because resin dust is very fine. Before painting, key the surface lightly and apply a primer suitable for resin.
This is an accessory for refining a plastic kit, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
