An exactly cast propeller for building the German Junkers Ju 87G dive bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a resin accessory that replaces the propeller from the plastic kit with a more accurate blade section and crisper hub detail. It is made by the Quickboost brand of the Aires company.
The Junkers Ju 87G was the anti-tank version of the German Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber of the Second World War, armed with a pair of underwing cannon. The propeller with its hub was among the prominent features seen at the front of the aircraft. Faithfully shaped blades will improve the overall impression a finished model makes.
Wash the resin casting in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release from the mold. Cut off the casting block and clean up the face, and bond the part with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Propeller blades tend to be dark with colored tips; a matte surface and a fine wash will bring out the shape. Protect your airways while sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
