About product

Quinta Studio 1:72 Kamov Ka-52M – radar bay with 3D-printed parts

The set contains resin, 3D-printed parts and the radar bay for a model of the upgraded Kamov Ka-52M attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic parts and gives the nose section crisply printed detail matching the upgraded version. It is NOT a helicopter model, but a detail accessory for one.

The real subject

The Kamov Ka-52M is the upgraded variant of the two-seat Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter with coaxial rotors. The changes also touched the sensor and radar equipment in the nose, which is why a more accurate rendering of this area pays off on a faithful model.

Building tips

  • Wash the parts free of uncured print resin and cut them off the print supports.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Protect your airways while sanding resin.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the upgraded Ka-52M version in 1:72 scale.
  • More experienced builders combining plastic with resin.
