Dead Design Control Surfaces painting masks for the Kawasaki Ki-45 Toryu in 1:72 scale will secure a sharp spray finish on the control surfaces of this twin-engined heavy fighter of the Japanese army.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Dead Design masking set from the Control Surfaces range is intended for a model of the Japanese twin-engined fighter Kawasaki Ki-45 in 1:72 scale. The masks define the ailerons, the elevator and the rudders, so that you can break the larger airframe of a twin-engined machine up in tone with a few light oversprays with a perfectly sharp edge. It is precisely on the larger surfaces of twin-engined aircraft that painting masks save the most time compared with sticking tape down by hand.
The Kawasaki Ki-45 Kai Toryu, that is Dragon Slayer, known to the Allies under the code name Nick, was a two-seat heavy fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force. It proved itself in attacks on ground and naval targets and above all as a night fighter: the versions armed with obliquely upward-firing cannon were among the most effective Japanese means against the night raids of heavy bombers on the home islands.
The accessory will be appreciated by builders of Japanese twin-engined machines and by modelers of night fighters who want a varied and faithful surface without lengthy masking. Basic experience with an airbrush is enough.
This is a modeling accessory - the kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
