A three dimensional puzzle of a Christmas truck with a lighting set; it is built without glue and without tools.
Responsibility details are not available.
An articulated truck in a deeply red finish with white lettering belongs to the images that come back to screens all over the world every December. This item converts it into a three dimensional puzzle: the parts are die cut in boards of foam material, they are broken out by hand and joined by locking tabs, so neither glue nor a knife is needed. The version with lights moreover adds illumination, thanks to which the outline of the trailer and the tractor unit light up.
It is assembled from the bottom up. First the running gear with the wheels comes about, then the cab and finally the shell of the trailer, into which the light strip is led. The instructions work with pictures and part numbers, so they do without knowledge of a foreign language. A piece under construction holds its shape by itself, so the work can be divided into several evenings and returned to without the risk of it falling apart in the meantime.
The puzzle calls for no modeling equipment and no experience with painting; the finished piece is presentable straight away. It is therefore suitable as work done together with children or as a gift for someone who wants to build something but does not want to begin with glue and paints. Once finished it is a decoration that will find a place among other Christmas ornaments.
Foam material is light and will stand being moved occasionally, but it does not like damp and direct sun; its edges may go wavy and the printing may fade. It therefore shows to best advantage on a shelf or in a display window in a dry room. Dust is removed from the surface with a dry soft brush, not with a cloth and water.
