A plastic kit of a Japanese jet trainer in 1:72 scale. It is a Hasegawa release with the standard fit of hard plastic, clear parts and a decal sheet with the insignia of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The box holds the parts, the decals and the instructions.
The Kawasaki T-4 is a two-seat jet trainer of high-wing layout, developed for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force as a replacement for older training types. It serves for basic and advanced pilot training, and in colorful markings it is also used by the Blue Impulse aerobatic team. It entered service at the end of the 1980s and remains the backbone of Japanese flight training.
Bond the plastic with thin cement for plastic, clean up the joints and test the fit of the cockpit in advance. Lay down a primer before painting; spray the standard gray finish with an airbrush, and a gloss coat will make the decals settle more easily. Finish the cockpit and the seats before you close up the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
