The Eduard Kfir C7 photo-etched set 1:72 is a detail set of photo-etched parts for sharpening a plastic model of the Israeli IAI Kfir C7 fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for advanced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard photo-etched detail set in 1:72 scale serves to sharpen a plastic model of the Israeli IAI Kfir C7 multi-role fighter. It is not a kit or a model of an aircraft in its own right, but a set of fine photo-etched parts in thin metal sheet that replace the simplified plastic sections and give the model realistic detail. Working with photo-etched parts assumes experience, so the set is aimed at advanced modelers.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli multi-role fighter with a delta wing and characteristic added canard surfaces. The C7 version is the most developed; it received a more powerful engine, more hardpoints for weapons and modernized avionics and cockpit. The Kfir derives from an airframe in the Mirage style and became known as a high-performance, versatile combat aircraft of the Israeli Air Force and of export users.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not by twisting. Shape the bends with a bender or tweezers along the marked scores. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); plastic cement does not hold on metal. Color-printed parts are not varnished, while bare metal surfaces are painted to match the real aircraft. Sort the small parts out beforehand and work with good lighting.
The package holds only the photo-etched parts. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
