1:72 Ki-100 I Ko (Fastback), self-adhesive Dead Design masks for spraying the cabin canopy of the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-100-I Ko with the fastback rear fuselage in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Precisely cut self-adhesive Dead Design masks for masking the glazing of a model of the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-100-I Ko in the form with the fuselage spine continuing behind the cabin, in 1:72 scale. A masking accessory for a kit, for painting the canopy frames cleanly without laborious cutting of tape.
The Kawasaki Ki-100 came about at the close of the war as an emergency but exceptionally successful installation of a radial engine into the airframe of the Ki-61-II fighter, whose inverted V12 engines were in short supply. The resulting machine kept the good flying qualities of the Hien and added the reliability of an air-cooled engine; pilots considered it one of the best Japanese fighters of the end of the war. The Ki-100-I Ko form matches the airframes with the original fuselage spine behind the cabin; the division of the glazing differs from the later bubble version, so choose the masks according to the variant being built.
Transfer the masks with tweezers onto the individual panes of the canopy and smooth the edges down carefully. Spray the interior shade first, then the external camouflage; once dry, take the masks off. The frames stay sharp and uniform even in the small 1:72 scale.
This is a masking accessory: the airplane kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
