1:72 Ki-100-I otsu Low-back is a photo-etched accessory set for a kit you have already bought, not a model of its own. It adds fine metal detail to the Japanese fighter with the lowered fuselage spine.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Brengun, intended as an accessory to the RS Models 92121+92128 plastic kit. There is no airplane model in the package. The set deals with the places where injected plastic runs into the limits of the technology: thin sheet metal parts, grilles, levers, fittings and other features that in a mold would have to be several times heavier than the scale allows.
The Kawasaki Ki-100 came about by rebuilding the airframe of the previous fighter with an inverted V12 engine whose production proved unworkable. An air-cooled radial engine took the place of the original powerplant, which meant reworking the nose and the cowling. The version designated otsu had a lowered spine on the rear fuselage and a cockpit canopy allowing a view to the rear; in modeling terminology it is called low-back.
In this class of sets the seat belts and the instrument panel take the most work. The belts look truer if you bend and ripple them slightly after cutting them out, as real straps never lie flat. A multi-part instrument panel is glued up in layers, and once it is dry a drop of clear gloss varnish can be put into the recesses of the dials to imitate the glass. Fit everything into the fuselage before you close it.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
