An injection-molded plastic kit of the armored car Kubus in 1:72 scale from the maker Mirage Hobby. In the package you will find sprues with plastic parts and a decal sheet. Mirage Hobby is a Polish short-run brand, so the build calls for a little more care in fitting the parts, but the result is a faithful model of a symbol of the courage of the uprising.
Kubus was an improvised armored car built during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 by members of the Polish Home Army. Its armored body was built on the chassis of a truck and the vehicle took a direct part in the fighting of the uprising, among other things in the attack on the university grounds. The surviving original is a museum exhibit today and is among the best-known symbols of the uprising.
Cut the small parts of the small scale out carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. The rough, literally hastily welded look of the armor can be emphasized with the texture of the finish. An airbrush and a base color suit the painting, and you create the weathering with washes and a dry brush. Do not forget the markings of the uprising from the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and the accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
