An accessory for building a model of the Liberator GR Mk.V in 1:72 scale from the Quickboost range. The kind of part is given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Liberator is a four-engine American bomber with a high-set slender wing, a twin vertical tail and radial engines. The British GR designation belongs to the patrol and reconnaissance configuration that Coastal Command deployed over the Atlantic against submarines. Range was what decided it: a machine with that kind of range could patrol even in a belt that other aircraft could not reach. The Mk.V version is one of the configurations of this patrol line.
An accessory for building a model in 1:72 scale, listed under a code of the Quickboost range. The name unfortunately does not state which part it is, so before buying go by the illustration on the box and check the scope of the package in the manufacturer's instructions. You cannot build a stand-alone model from it; it is a part that replaces or completes a section of a kit already under construction.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary cement for plastic models will not join them; use super glue and apply it in tiny drops. Cut surplus material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the rest down, so that the surface detail is not damaged. Try the fit dry, and only then remove the corresponding plastic part. Before painting, wash the part in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, degrease it and apply a thin base coat on which the paint holds reliably.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
