Lifting eyes for the Cromwell in 1:72 scale from Firma49 replace the small details on the hull and turret of the British cruiser tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on set in 1:72 scale from Firma49. It contains lifting eyes for the British Cromwell tank, that is the small fittings by which the vehicle or its parts were slung during workshop handling. The set belongs to the model you are building and is not a kit on its own.
The Cromwell was a British cruiser tank of the Second World War, powered by the Meteor aircraft engine derived from the Merlin. It stood out for its speed and, together with other types, formed the backbone of British armored units after the landings in Normandy. Its hull and turret carry a number of small fittings, which easily disappear while a model is being built.
In 1:72 scale an eye on a plastic part is often molded as a solid lug without an opening, because a mold cannot hold a finer shape. A separate part with the shape properly defined draws more attention on such a small model than large areas do. Before gluing, carefully cut the original lug away with a scalpel and level the area, so that the new part sits flush. Compare the position against a drawing beforehand, because once the plastic shape is removed no guide is left on the hull.
