The Plastyk 1:72 Lim-5P is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish license version of the radar-equipped MiG-17PF jet interceptor.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker captures the Lim-5P, the Polish license version of the radar-equipped interceptor. It is a simpler model of an older cut, suited to collectors of Cold War equipment and to lovers of Polish and East European aviation.
The Lim-5P was the version of the all-weather interceptor MiG-17PF built under license in Poland. It differed from the day version in the radar in the nose, which made it possible to pick up targets in poor visibility and at night. Lim-5P machines served in the nineteen fifties and sixties with the Polish Air Force as part of the air defense.
With an older tooling, clean the fit up: fill and sand the joints and treat the surfaces with primer. Glue with thin cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit and mask the glazing before spraying. Use gloss varnish before the decals and even the surface out with matte varnish at the end. The natural metal look of the airframe can be brought out with metallic shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
