A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the Lockheed Martin F-16CJ Block 50 aircraft in 1:72 scale. It serves to complete a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16 is an American single-engine multirole combat aircraft and the most widespread Western fighter of its generation. The C version is single-seat, and the Block 50 designation identifies a later production block, in which changes were made to the equipment of the machine. For a modeler this matters, because parts matching one block may not fit another. You recognize the aircraft by its bubble canopy without a forward frame and by the air intake under the fuselage.
The photo-etched parts are made of thin metal sheet and replace places where a plastic part comes out thicker in a small scale than the real aircraft would suggest. Typically these are the interior fittings, belts, grilles and other features where the thickness of the material matters. Exactly what the package contains, where the individual parts belong and which kit the set is cut for is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate a part with a sharp blade on a hard surface; do not break it out, or it will bend. Make the bends in a bending tool or by pressing against a straight edge, always in one go and along the whole length. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied in a minute amount; a pin or the tip of a toothpick suits the dosing. Before painting, wash and degrease the metal and use a base paint intended for metal, otherwise you will peel the finish off during handling. Work over a tray, because a part of this size that falls is never found on the floor.
The kit of the aircraft, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
