1:72 Lockheed S-3B Viking. Engines from Metallic Details is a resin set of the powerplants of the S-3B Viking carrier-based airplane in 1:72 scale. It replaces the engine nacelles from the kit and does not include the model itself.

A resin add-on set for builders of the Viking carrier-based airplane in 1:72 scale. The engine nacelles hung under the wing are impossible to miss on this type, and injection-molded plastic handles them only in rough outlines, because the depth of the intake, a legible fan and fine transitions of shape are missing. A casting holds these details. The set is an accessory for a part-built kit, not a model of an airplane.
The Lockheed S-3 Viking was a carrier-based airplane of the US Navy originally intended for antisubmarine warfare. It was powered by a pair of General Electric TF34 turbofan engines in nacelles under a high-set wing, a solution that gave the airplane good endurance and low consumption during long patrols. The S-3B version brought upgraded avionics and extended weapons options; toward the end of their service the machines also flew as carrier-based tankers and for reconnaissance. The wing folded for stowage on the deck, so the nacelles and their surroundings are clearly visible from every side on a model.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, so that they are rid of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw a little away from the part and level the area by sanding; do not inhale the resin dust, sand wet and in a well-ventilated room. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). With nacelles the rule is that both must sit the same: assemble them dry, check the angle to the spar and the symmetry in relation to the fuselage, and only then glue. Apply a primer before painting. The inside of the intake is done best with a smooth light shade on a polished surface, the face of the fan with a metallic shade and the exit part with darker smoke tones; the edges of the intake tend to be worn down to bare metal in service.
This is an add-on set, not a model of an airplane. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
