It replaces the simplified seat from the kit with a casting showing fine detail of the harness, the handles and the structure. The set is intended for experienced modelers.
The Martin-Baker GQ-7A was an ejection seat from the British maker of escape systems that was fitted to the European F-104G Starfighters. It replaced an older type of seat and brought the ability to leave the machine safely even at low speed and low altitude. The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic fighter with a distinctive thin wing.
This is a resin casting for advanced modelers. First wash the parts free of mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the cut surfaces – always with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; try the surfaces dry before fixing them. Paint the seat and bring out the harness and handles separately, and only then set it into the cockpit.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
