Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M10 tank destroyer in its early configuration, in 1:72 scale from UM. The set holds plastic parts, a photo-etched fret for the fine detail and a decal sheet. The model is intended to be glued and painted.
The M10 was an American tank destroyer fielded from 1943. It was created on the chassis of a medium tank and carried an open rotating turret with a 76.2 mm (three-inch) gun. The open top of the turret made observation easier but gave the crew no protection from above. Early vehicles had a turret with markedly sloped walls and characteristic hull shapes, by which they can be told from the later batches. The M10 served with American and Allied units on several battlefields.
Assemble the running gear and the hull first, and close up the upper areas only afterwards. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer coat, laying the main shade on with an airbrush and bringing out the running gear and the underside with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
