Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M10A1 tank destroyer with the M1 bulldozer blade from UM in 1:72 scale. The set captures the late configuration of the M10A1 and holds rich detail of the hull and the running gear; photo-etched parts and a decal sheet are included depending on the release. The M1 blade adds an engineer function to the vehicle.
The M10, or rather its M10A1 variant, was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War with an open rotating turret and a 3-inch gun. The M10A1 version used an engine of the Ford GAA type. The M1 bulldozer blade widened the possibilities of the vehicle to include engineer work and shaping the terrain. It was in effect a mobile anti-tank asset complemented by engineer equipment.
Assemble the running gear and the interior of the open turret before you finish the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and use liquid modeling cement on the plastic. Lay the paints on with an airbrush and emphasize the open turret and the interior with washes; bring the blade and the running gear to life with dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
