An accessory set for the American M24 Chaffee light tank in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank of the end of the Second World War, armed with a 75 mm gun. Against the older light tanks it was given a lower and more modern hull shape, more comfortable suspension and considerably stronger armament. It reached the units only in the last months of the fighting in Europe, but after the war it stayed in service with a number of armies for many years and saw action in later conflicts as well.
An accessory set for a model of the M24 Chaffee in 1:72 scale. These are parts that are fitted into a finished kit, not a separate model. A list of the parts, their placement and the recommended glue are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Fit the parts dry first and check how they line up with the kit plastic, and only then glue them. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest with a fine abrasive. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry, as paint holds far better on a degreased surface. In 1:72 scale it pays to paint the small parts separately and glue them on only once the model has been sprayed, otherwise a brush will not reach the joints.
The set is for modelers who build American vehicles in 1:72 scale and want to complete their Chaffee beyond the contents of the box. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
