Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov. This version is enriched with a painting mask and 3D-printed parts (wheels and exhausts) and supplemented with decals, so it offers a higher level of detail than the basic release.
The Martin-Baker M.B.5 was a British prototype fighter of 1944 powered by an engine with contra-rotating propellers. Although it was rated as an aerodynamically clean and very capable machine, it never reached series production because of the postwar arrival of jet aircraft and remained a single prototype. To this day it is regarded as one of the most advanced British piston fighter designs.
Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from their supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Use the enclosed mask for a clean spray on the cockpit glazing. Paint the cockpit before the fuselage is closed up; for the smooth gloss surface of the prototype an airbrush, a primer and gentle polishing before the decals all suit. Assemble the contra-rotating propellers carefully to get the geometry right.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories beyond the equipment listed are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
