EXPERT Masking Set for the F-102A Delta Dagger in 1:72 Scale (New Ware)

A masking set in the highest EXPERT extent from New Ware for the Meng kit of the American F-102A Delta Dagger fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory made of precisely cut kabuki tape. The EXPERT level represents the complete masking service of the range: besides the canopy and the wheels it also covers other areas of the airframe that would otherwise have to be laboriously masked with hand-cut tape.

Complete masking from one sheet

The F-102A Delta Dagger, an American interceptor of the 1950s with its characteristic delta wing, is often built in natural metal or gray schemes, where every inaccurate edge shows. A complete set of masks gives you the certainty of a uniform result over the whole model: every masked edge is made by the same technology, so they all have the same sharpness. Compared with cutting tape by hand it also does away with the risk of scratching the clear parts with a knife.

Use

• work section by section and take the templates off the sheet as you go
• degrease and polish the clear parts before masking
• press the edges of the templates down thoroughly, especially on the curved canopy
• lift the masks off with tweezers at a sharp angle once the paint is dry

The set contains only the masking templates. The basic Meng kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
