The extended grade of masks for the two-seat Delfin trainer in 1:72, prepared for the AMK model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Aero L-29 first flew in the spring of 1959 and in the competition that followed beat its Polish and Soviet rivals, becoming the single training type of the Warsaw Pact states. More than three thousand were built and it became known for being undemanding: it coped with short grass strips and forgave a beginner's mistakes. Besides its European users it also flew in Africa and the Middle East, where in places it even saw combat.
It is not only about the glazing of the two-seat cockpit. The higher grade of the line adds further small shapes to cover, with which you can also deal with the places where working with tape by hand would take the most time. The number given after the name of the aircraft belongs to the particular model whose dimensions the cut is based on.
Assemble and paint the interior, then fit the clear part and let the glue cure overnight. Lay the masks down with dry tweezers and press the edge home with a soft stick. A light primer follows, then the colors themselves. Once dry, lift the material off while it is still supple, and touch up the joints with a very fine-pointed brush if need be.
A conspicuous feature of the machine is the high-set T-shaped horizontal tail and the air intakes on the sides of the fuselage. It is the rear end that gives the most trouble when fitting the parts, so it pays to try the joint dry before you reach for the glue.
The package holds masking material only; the aircraft itself is bought separately.
